Sculpting a winner for the Bowl-A-Rama trophies
Last weekend (20/21st FEB 2016) Bowl-A-Rama took place in Bondi. Over two days top of the crop skaters took place in the competition heats advancing through to the finals on Sunday.
The presented trophies were hand sculpted by me, then moulded and cold-cast in aluminium. Gold, silver, and bronze were painted into the flames on the helmet to differentiate the prizes.
The event featured an all star line up of local and international pro riders including Tony Hawk, Steve Caballero, Omar Hassan, Pedro Barros, and Eddie Elguera.
This was a fantastic event to be a part of and I am very excited to know that Tony Hawk now has one of my designs added to his trophy case.
